Businesses across Napa and Sonoma counties are closing their doors or donating profits today as part of a nationwide “National Shutdown” protest against federal immigration enforcement.
The Press Democrat reports the movement calls for a day of no work, school, or shopping to demand an end to ICE funding following several recent fatal shootings involving federal agents.
