Former Petaluma American Little League Treasurer Allegedly Embezzled $60,000

The former treasurer of Petaluma American Little League is facing felony charges for allegedly stealing more than $60,000 from the youth sports organization.

Police say 46-year-old Emily Parker used the funds for personal expenses and falsified financial records to hide the trail, leading to charges of grand theft and forgery.

While the case has been referred to the Sonoma County District Attorney, investigators noted that Parker’s husband—the league’s former president—is not facing charges due to a lack of evidence.
