A Santa Rosa home was allegedly being used as a secret manufacturing site for illegal “ghost guns.”
Last Tuesday, the Santa Rosa Police Gang Crimes Team raided a residence on Edgewater Drive. Inside, detectives discovered a 3D printer, firearm parts, and several weapons—including an illegal assault rifle and two semi-automatic pistols.
Investigators say the 3D printer was being used to privately manufacture non-serialized firearms. Two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, were arrested at the scene on multiple felony charges, including manufacturing firearms and possession of an assault weapon. Both were booked into the Sonoma County Juvenile Justice Center.
