The third annual Raven Gala brought magic and music to Healdsburg on March 13th, drawing more than 200 supporters to celebrate the local arts scene.
Per the Press Democrat, the event successfully raised over $40,000, which Executive Director Tom Brand says will cover vital operating costs and the installation of 375 donated seats. These new seats were gifted by SingleThread Farms following the closure of the nearby Raven Film Center.
Guests were treated to a pre-show by mentalist Robert Goleman before moving into the theater for performances by local students and the “Young At Heart” youth troupe. Recording artist Pete Stringfellow closed out the evening, helping the venue bridge the 40% funding gap not covered by ticket sales alone.
Community feedback has been glowing, with many attendees praising the program’s mix of local talent and professional entertainment.
This fundraiser ensures the theater can continue its mission of providing a creative hub for the Healdsburg community.
