The Sonoma Jet Center has filed a lawsuit against the Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport and Vine Jet over construction of an above ground fuel tank that it says is not safe and violates environmental standards. The tank is to be installed near the air traffic control tower and a parking area, and is on property leased by Vine Jet. Sonoma Jet Center’s fuel tanks are much further away. According to the Press Democrat, Airport manager John Stout says the project was fully reviewed and is safe and compliant will all applicable laws.
