An investigation is ongoing after a man was found dead in the street in Petaluma.
The Petaluma Police Department says officers responded to a neighborhood on the east side early Saturday morning on a report of an unresponsive lying in the roadway. Police pronounced him dead at the scene, and investigators are still working to determine the cause of death.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows no obvious signs of foul play.
