The city of Healdsburg is hosting its first-ever Pride celebration this month.
The inaugural Healdsburg Pride will take place this Sunday near City Hall. The event will start with remarks from prominent local LGBTQ+ figures, including “Out in the Vineyard” founder Gary Saperstein. The speeches will be followed by a short march to Healdsburg Bar & Grill for a tea dance and silent auction. Attendance for the tea dance and silent auction will be capped at 150 people.
The event is being organized by the LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce Professionals with Pride, which was founded last year.
