U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is stepping up its presence in Sonoma County.
A local group tracking ICE actions says the agency has arrested two people in Santa Rosa within two days this week, the North Bay Rapid Response Network says ICE agents arrested one person early Tuesday morning and a second person early Wednesday morning.
The group says the arrests mark a sudden escalation of ICE’s presence in the county, and it’s unclear whether the arrests were targeted or random.
