A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash just north of Santa Rosa.
The wreckage was found at about 9:40 Sunday morning, near Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport. CHP officers found a Ford Edge overturned down a 12-foot embankment. The driver, who was the only person in the SUV, was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe the crash happened sometime between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
