We are learning a few more details about the dismissal of St. Vincent de Paul High school principal Patrick Daly in late August. In a letter to school families, Reverend William Donahue says Daly was let go after tens of thousands of dollars in unauthorized charges appeared on a school issued credit card.
While not listing everything… stating the ongoing investigation, he did list charges to AAA, cash advances of $52,000, car and health related expenses, clothing and health charges… all totaling over $100,000.
Former principal Daly responded by denying using money inappropriately and that the truth will eventually come out.
