It’s a sign of progress, yesterday officials held the groundbreaking ceremony for a new SMART station at Corona Road and North McDowell Boulevard in Petaluma. The project not only includes a new station, but 131 new affordable housing units on a little over 5 acres. Construction will begin next month and should wrap up in late 2024.
