Parktrail Drive near Summerfield Road in Santa Rosa was shut down for several hours on Sunday after a 56-year old woman was struck by a car while in the crosswalk about 7:15 in the morning. She suffered major injuries, and remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. The driver of the vehicle is a 79-year old female, who called 9-1-1 and fully cooperated in the investigation.
