We are one step closer to completion of the widening of the Novato Narrows on Highway 101 between Petaluma and Novato. Caltrans must perform a traffic shift that will align the old roadway with a new section. This move will allow for the reconstruction of the northbound section. The work is supposed to take place on Thursday, depending on the weather which right now looks fine, the project should be complete sometime next summer.
