The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors yesterday to dump DEMA Management and Consulting, the company hired to run several homeless sites who’s billing has come into question lately.
The county does not have an exact timeline or a new company lined up to replace DEMA, so they will continue to run the tent site at the county complex and the Mickey Zane Place hotel on a week to week basis. A Press Democrat investigation brought into question billing associated with the $26 million dollar contract DEMA secured with the county.
