Police in Chico now say the destructive Park Fire was started by arson, and they have a suspect in custody.
42-year old Ronnie Dean Stout II pushed a burning car into a gully Wednesday afternoon, it slid some 60 feet downhill where it went up in flames completely, sparking the Park Fire. The fire has now burned over 164,000 acres and is being driven by strong winds, containment sits at only 3%.
