A driver not even old enough to have a license is in custody after a police pursuit through east Santa Rosa.
The 15-year-old suspect led Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies on a chase on Wednesday morning. The suspect, already on probation, was spotted driving a stolen car. The driver fled a traffic stop and sped away into Bennet Valley, reaching speeds as high as 70 miles per hour.
The chase ended after the driver crashed into a parked car and the teen was arrested after trying to run away.
