Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit is temporarily suspending early morning service from Windsor.
Three early-morning, southbound trips are on hold after residents near the tracks complained about noise. The trips departed at 4:35, 4:58 and 5:30 a.m. Trains are federally required to sound their horns as they approach at-grade intersections between Windsor and Shiloh Road. Residents say that is disrupting their sleep.
SMART opened the Windsor station just a few weeks ago, on May 31st.
