A man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly stabbing a person in Santa Rosa.
The suspect is accused of stabbing the victim with a pocketknife late Monday night. Witnesses disarmed and held the suspect down until police arrived. Detectives say the victim was attacked from behind and the attack was unprovoked.
The victim is hospitalized with serious injuries.
