A suspected prowler is facing charges after he was arrested in Petaluma.
The Petaluma Police Department says it arrested 55-year-old Dan Coates late last Wednesday night. He was allegedly seen entering private backyards and acting suspiciously. Police say he was also seen walking through front yards and examining porches.
Coates is facing the charges of prowling on private property, resisting arrest and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
