A man accused of shooting another man to death during a fight at Lake Berryessa will stand trial on October 6th.
Gabriel Chavez is charged with first-degree murder and three counts of assault following the parking lot brawl on June 8th, 2024. The shooting led to the death of Vallejo resident Andres Sandoval Garcia.
Chavez is accused of punching an unconscious man, shoving a much smaller woman to the ground, then pointing a gun at her before shooting Sandoval Garcia.
