Santa Rosa Police have taken down a major drug trafficking organization, leading to multiple arrests and the seizure of a huge amount of cash, drugs, and other illicit goods.
The investigation, which began in May, led detectives to two main suspects: 28-year-old Eyobell Solomon and 19-year-old Aaron Bennis. Search warrants served in Santa Rosa and Sebastopol resulted in their arrests and the recovery of thousands of dollars worth of various drugs, two handguns, and about $130,000 in cash.
Officers also found thousands of dollars worth of stolen property, including electronics. Following these initial arrests, several other individuals were identified and arrested in connection with the trafficking ring. All are now facing charges for conspiracy and possession of narcotics for sale.
