Mentis Napa is hosting its second annual suicide prevention conference today at the Yountville Community Center.
The Press Democrat reports the free event, part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, will feature a resource fair and panels with local experts. This year’s keynote speaker is Calistoga City Councilmember Lisa Gift, who will share her personal story as a mental health advocate and suicide attempt survivor to help reduce stigma.
