The Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport continues to perform well.
The Press Democrat reports the latest figures for August show a slight dip in passenger traffic, but that’s mainly due to Avelo Airlines ending its service. Looking at the bigger picture, passenger numbers for the year are still up 12.5% compared to this time last year, thanks to continued strong growth from Alaska Airlines and American Airlines.
This follows recent news that Southwest Airlines will begin service on April 7th, and is scheduled to fly a popular route to Denver—a destination previously served by United Airlines.
