Two Sebastopol men are suspected in the death of a Santa Rosa woman found shot on a staircase inside her home last week.
Fifty-year-old Felix Carreon and 46-year-old Robert McConlogue were arrested Monday in connection with the death of 47-year-old Mollie Schefer on September 9th. Police discovered Schefer with two gunshot wounds to the chest and a dog also killed at the home.
Investigators traced a vehicle linked to the suspects and carried out arrests with helicopter support and search warrants, seizing clothing, electronics, and ammunition. The firearm used has not been recovered.
Carreon and McConlogue were booked into Sonoma County Main Jail on suspicion of murder and felony criminal conspiracy.
