Local U.S. Coast Guard forces will not participate in this year’s Veterans Day parade due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.
The annual North Bay parade is still scheduled to start at 1 p.m. Tuesday, but organizers say the Coast Guard will not lead the procession or assist with setup and operations.
