Petaluma police arrest a 24-year-old man Sunday morning on suspicion of stealing a woman’s underwear from her home.
Officers responded around 7 a.m. to the 500 block of South McDowell Boulevard after a doorbell camera captured the man entering the backyard and a detached laundry room, where he reportedly took the underwear before fleeing.
Police located the suspect nearby with the stolen items still in his possession.
He was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of prowling and burglary.
