A series of rain systems is expected to soak the North Bay this week, bringing the first prolonged wet weather since before Thanksgiving.
Starting today, Sonoma and Napa counties can expect consistent light rain from an atmospheric river system impacting the Pacific Northwest.
The National Weather Service says the system will stick around through tomorrow, and could drop a quarter-inch of rain in most areas and up to half an inch in the coastal ranges. Another storm is expected to follow immediately, with showers continuing throughout the week.
Forecasters say the recent dry spell means there are currently no flood concerns.
