The Santa Rosa Police Department is relaunching its successful “Missing Person Monday” campaign today, aiming to bring fresh eyes to adult cold cases.
Starting today, the department will use its social media platforms to highlight long-term missing person cases, some dating back as far as 1984. The initiative has proven highly effective in the past; since the program’s launch in 2024, the community has helped investigators resolve 13 cold cases, including one individual who had been missing for nearly two decades.
Police are asking the public to check the SRPD Facebook and Instagram pages every Monday to share these profiles. If you have any information that could provide a lead for the Violent Crimes Investigations Team, you are encouraged to call the department’s tip line at 707-543-3590.
