A 17-year-old driver is facing charges after a police pursuit ended in a deadly crash east of Petaluma.
The teen is accused of DUI and vehicular manslaughter. The chase involving a reckless driver in a stolen vehicle started at about 10:10 Saturday night. It ended when the vehicle, with four teenagers inside, rolled over on Lakeville Highway.
The driver and all three passengers were thrown from the vehicle and one of the passengers died. He has since been identified as a 14-year-old boy from Novato.
The driver and surviving passengers are hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
