A Santa Rosa man has been sentenced following his arrest in a multi-agency sex offense sting operation in Marin County earlier this year.
The Marin Independent Journal reports Nassor Ngabira, 24, pleaded guilty in September to conspiracy and attempting to arrange a meeting with a minor for lewd behavior. Yesterday, Judge Kelly Simmons sentenced Ngabira to 60 days in jail, though 119 days of his sentence can be served in a jail alternative program.
He was also placed on two years of probation and must register as a sex offender. Ngabira was one of four suspects arrested in February after undercover detectives engaged with them online via social media and dating apps.
The other three suspects have pleaded not guilty and have upcoming court dates.
