Sonoma County Ag and Open Space has announced the purchase of the Chanslor Ranch along the coast off of Hwy 1 near Bodega Bay. The 378-acre property was acquired for $5.5 million dollars, Sonoma County Regional Parks will manage the property. The ranch is rich in natural, scenic, and recreational resources, and had been eyed for conservation for decades.
