The man accused of killing Santa Rosa resident Abel Garza during a fight in Healdsburg last year will stand trial. The attorney for Romario Cisneros attempted to get the charges dismissed, saying it was self defense, but Judge Robert LaForge denied the request saying there is sufficient evidence to proceed. The fight took place outside of the Hotel Healdsburg when Garza confronted employees several times, at one point attacking them with a pole and a hammer.
