The Flora fire erupted yesterday spanning Chalk Hill road south and east of Heladsburg.
Crews on the ground and in the air were able to stop forward progress about 8pm last night, holding the fire to 50 acres, as of this morning containment is reported at 35 % Chalk Hill Road remains closed between Spurgeon Road and Flora Ranch Road. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
