The Petaluma City Council has approved paying 650-thousand dollars to the family of a woman who died in a car crash.
Seventy-nine-year-old Beverly Kleven died in a crash on Lakeville Highway in February of 2024, & in September, Kleven’s four children filed a wrongful death suit against Petaluma, Sonoma County, Caltrans and several individuals.
The county was dismissed from the case in April.
