Sonoma County Focus: Sonoma County Pride

sonomacountyfocussquare402239

Host Jeff Woodworth talks with Christopher Kren-Mora, President & Director of Marketing for Sonoma County Pride, about Sonoma County Pride! Since 2017, a dedicated group of five or six individuals has worked tirelessly to shape the Pride celebration in Sonoma County into what it is today. As members of the Sonoma County Pride Board, they have committed countless hours, days, weeks and months to plan, promote and execute Pride events. They want to emphasize that they are an ALL VOLUNTEER, non-profit organization, with no financial support for the time and energy they devote to this cause. As a board, they are unwavering in their belief that they have not only fulfilled, but exceeded, the mission they set forth in 2018: "Working with community leaders, we support the non-profit community and strive to preserve and educate the community about the rich LGBTQ+ history in Sonoma County." Through their ongoing partnerships, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to visibility and inclusion, they have strengthened the community, honored the history, and created a platform where all voices can be heard and celebrated. Their dedication to this mission is reflected in the tangible progress they've made, and they're proud of the lasting impact they continue to have.
