Senator Diane Feinstein appeared to loose track of proceedings during a subcommittee hearing Thursday when she was supposed to vote, but instead started reading a speech. She was prompted several times by Senator Patty Murray to reply “aye”, but seemed confused and continued her speech. Finally an aide jumped in and got her to reply with just “aye”. The incident added fuel to those who are calling for Feinstien to step down.
