The 58-foot Aleutian Storm remains stuck on Salmon Creek Beach after 3 unsuccessful attempts to pull the boat back into the ocean. Crews spent the day yesterday off-loading much of the 1,500 gallons of fuel on board. The boat has also taken on water from crashing waves, adding to it’s weight an inability to move. Once more fuel and the water is removed, another rescue attempt can be made.
