Chevy Camaro thefts are on the increase across the Bay Area, and now the Rohnert Park department of Public Safety has put out a warning for owners to be aware that thieves may be targeting those cars here locally. Thieves are able to use a key cloning/programming device that simulates fob key technology and give criminals access to the vehicles. It is advised that if you own a Camaro with an electric key, you should take extra precautions to protect your car.
