Burbank Housing, one of the largest affordable housing developers in the county, has agreed to settle a lawsuit alleging it discriminated against people with disabilities. Burbank will pay $41,500 and require employees be retrained in fair housing laws after claims that they responded unreasonably and slowly to requests for access or accommodation for people with disabilities, including assistance dogs.
