A Kenwood man is back behind bars after launching a violent crime spree in Santa Rosa just two hours after being released from jail.
Santa Rosa Police arrested 28-year-old Liam Isaac Kolling on Wednesday evening after multiple 911 callers reported him assaulting a woman near Mendocino and Pacific avenues.
Investigators quickly discovered Kolling had also threatened a woman with a broken glass bottle at a nearby bus stop and smashed a parked car’s windshield with a large stick on Nason Street. Kolling had been released on pre-trial supervision earlier that afternoon before confronting multiple victims and threatening to kill them.
Fortunately, no one was injured, and police are thanking quick-thinking bystanders who stepped in to help the victims and guide officers to the suspect.
